This week Peter and his brother Micke have been on a business road trip in Sweden, while I (Helena) have been working from Stockholm. It's been an intense week, but now it's almost the weekend. Happy Friday!

Peter and Micke on a road trip in Sweden
Peter and Micke have been on a big road trip around southern and central Sweden, by rental car. The purpose was to meet and have meetings with a bunch of current, and possibly future, co-operation partners.
Micke had booked a least said intensive scheme with 2-3 meetings per day, and sometimes long driving distances in between. These meetings are super important for us and mean a lot for how next year will be. When I talked to Peter and Micke in the evenings, they sounded tired but happy. By the way, I asked Peter to take some photos of hotels and other things along the way, so maybe there will be a small report!
Helena in Stockholm
I (Helena) have been at home in Stockholm "holding the fort". Well, there hasn't been much holding the fort, but I have been lecturing together with my former colleagues for another week.
There have been a lot of trips on the metro and buses. I've also had time to have lunch with my mum in Huddinge, so I took the commuter train as well. I must say that I like the newer parts of the central station, so I even took some photos.
The question is whether an escalator can be beautiful, but I almost think so. What do you think?
Finally together again!
All week we have been busy on both sides, and it has been intense. I (Helena) have slept alone during campervan covers in the houseboat and Peter has managed to stay in three different hotels. But last night he came home, and now it's nice to be together again!
Best this week
The best thing this week is that Peter and Micke have been on "tour" in Sweden and initiated a number of different exciting collaborations. Firstly, collaborations are absolutely necessary for us, so that we can continue to work full-time with FREEDOMtravel, and secondly, a lot of exciting ideas have been discussed. If only half of them are realised, we will be in full swing next year!
Your turn, what has been the best part of your week? Big or small?
The week ahead
In the coming week there will be a press trip to Cyprus, together with a bunch of travel writers and travel bloggers we know. Cyprus is a destination we have been curious about for a long time, so it will be really fun. In addition, it is a lovely bunch, so we look forward to this. Hope you join us here at freedomtravel.se!

Sounds like you had an intense but good week. We have had a couple of boring weeks with a cold and waiting for the big adventure of the winter, but now the form is almost back and in less than a week we hope for German asphalt under the wheels!
Have a nice trip to Cyprus!

Intense but wonderful and fun, it sounds like your week has been. So nice with Cyprus now that the first snowflakes begin to fall outside the window and fun to experience the beautiful island with friends and like-minded people. I spent the family's first charter trip a week in early September 1988 in Cyprus and then it was +40 ° every day so trips to Nicosia were cancelled and I did not see much more than the beach, the pool and a boat trip. it will be fun to follow you there via the blog.
We wish you a great trip!

Great to hear about your experiences in Cyprus! It will be a little cooler now, so hopefully we can handle a little more than the pool 😉.

What impressive work you do!!! Without your enthusiasm, FREEDOMtravel would probably not have been as successful as I can imagine it is today. ...and you have been active for quite some time now. Feels like at least a hundred years since we met in Malta... Hahaa....
Yes, an escalator can actually be beautiful, or rather what surrounds it. It's been a few years since I was "at home" in Stockholm, I doubt if I would recognise myself today.
Found out via BP that you are going to Cyprus!!! That's great! Which places will you visit? How long are you staying? Do you have a full programme? Are you going to Paphos?
If you have time to spare, you are welcome to come to our home!!!! We have lived here on the island since August 2021 and in our house for six months. Would be great fun if you have time, if not, I will of course follow you on the blog.
You will probably have a greater knowledge of Cyprus after your visit than we had time to learn 😂 ...most of our time here has been spent looking for houses and later renovating. But Paphos we know quite well.

How nice to hear from you Anita!!! Agree, it feels like it was very long since we saw each other! Although I remember it well!!!
I understand that the trip starts in Limassol, and we will visit Paphos. We will also make a small trip to Ayia Napa. We are in Cyprus 22-26 Nov. It will be a tight programme, not so much air I think, haha, but if possible it would of course be great fun to see you! Where do you live? You are welcome to contact me by email, at redaktion(at)freedomtravel.se so we can see if we are in the hooks!!!
