Svenska Slottshotellsvägen is very luxurious but also exciting and there are a lot of castles with ghosts too which makes it extra interesting. Svenska Slottshotellvägen is a FREEDOMtravel Theme Road that runs from Garpenberg above Hedemora, with a u-turn to Malmö and turns up again to the south of Stockholm. You can follow it from any direction, or pick your favourite part (your favourite spots) in the middle. This is an idea to make it easier for you to go on a little adventure. Happy travelling!

20. Häckeberga Castle Hotel
Häckeberga Castle is a castle in Genarp parish in Lund municipality near Genarp. The castle is located on one of the seven islets of Lake Häckeberga and was completed in 1875 in the French Renaissance style. You can stay at the castle or in the pavilion by the lake and here you will find a castle lunch, or a 5-course, afternoon tea and if you stay over, you eat an alla carte breakfast to feel good all day. Kronovall Castle is a stunningly beautiful baroque castle in Österlen, Skåne. Today the castle serves as a wine castle, which means a great focus on wines from many parts of the world. Some visitors have seen shadows in the long corridor on the second floor, and this is believed to be the 16-year-old Isabell who drowned one winter in one of the moats while secretly meeting the forester's son. 22. Bäckaskog Castle on Svenska Slottshotellsvägen.
Monks lived at Bäckaskog as early as the 13th century, and in the 16th century the monastery was converted into a fortified castle. Today, the castle serves as a hotel and conference centre, and various parties and events are also arranged here. It's really cosy and the park is very nice. Are there ghosts here? Yep!!!!!!!

A fairytale castle in Växjö that is only about 100 years old and was a morning gift to his wife, yes I thank you. It was very cosy to be here but we never slept over and we regret it today, but next time so.
24 Västanå Castle Hotel
Västanå Slott from around 1590 and located about five kilometres south of Gränna with culinary dishes, good wine and well-preserved castle environments. How about hiking, boule, tennis, padel, hunting, golf and tennis. You stay in the centre of the castle, the south wing, the gatehouse or Röttle village. 28. öster malma castle
Öster Malma Castle from the 17th century is a nice little white estate in Nyköping municipality and here there is a lot about hunting and wild animals. Here you will find good food, hunting, Wild Life park, game shop, farm shop, hotel and hostel. Just watch out for the wolf.
29: Södertuna Castle
Södertuna Castle is situated in a scenic location by Lake Frösjön in Södermanland with a spa, restaurant, gourmet, sauna, hot tub and pool. Afternoon tea, collections such as the corkscrew collection, Sweden's largest collection of armagnac (a cognac-like drink) and a collection of old Meissen porcelain, with family arms from the Eckerman families. A 16th century oak tree in the English Park and this is real beauty.

An enjoyable castle dating back to the 14th century with a cold bath house and wood-fired sauna in a historic castle environment on Mörkö's beautiful headland. 4 houses with hotel rooms, lounge, beach studio, villa Liljefors, jetty, pool table, bar and much more.
