Our digital travel magazine FREEDOMtravel continues to grow at a record pace. In July 2023, the magazine had 323,000 unique visitors, confirming its strong upward trend. The most popular destinations are Sweden and Germany.

Record figures for July 2023
Already in the first half of 2023, the digital travel magazine FREEDOMtravel performed well, with an average of 102,500 readers per month (14% increase compared to 2022). This increase is in line with the magazine's strategic work and continuous upward trend. In July, readership broke all records, with well over 300,000 readers according to Google Analytics, in just one month.

Great interest in Swedish and German destinations
The statistics show that there is great interest among readers in Swedish travel destinations. It is very popular to read reports on both large and small Swedish cities as well as on Swedish islands and various excursion destinations suitable for holidays.
There is also great interest in German destinationswith everything from big cities and small picturesque towns to holiday routes and castles. What's more, many readers have chosen to follow FREEDOMtravel's motorhome adventure in the Finland - an 8-week journey from Åland and Helsinki to Tornio/Haparanda.
FREEDOMtravel - travel magazine for the independent traveller
FREEDOMtravel is a digital travel magazine for the independent traveller. In the magazine you will find lots of tips and inspiration about what to see and do in different destinations, whether you are travelling by car, motorhome, motorcycle, train or plane. You will find more than 4000 reports in the form of city guides and articles on sights, activities, nature experiences, themed roads and much more.
A large part of the reports are written by Helena and Peter Bergström, who themselves spend about ten months a year travelling. There are also around 15 other guest writers associated with the magazine. The magazine is run by Peter and Helena Bergström from FREEDOMtravel AB, in collaboration with Tjälldén Media.

Thanks BP!!! Great thoughts! I think blogging has changed over time. We used to write shorter "here and now" posts and there were a lot of comments. Today we write a lot of food guides, where it may not always feel as obvious for everyone to comment. But, we probably get at least as many comments today, just that they have moved a bit ... we get a lot of emails and comments on Facebook and Instagram instead.
