Lena - good for the soul says:
Christmas markets are so cosy. We have taken my parents to Hammarskog Manor outside Uppsala a few times. It is the first Sunday in December there, so this year it will be the first Advent. This year, however, we will take them to Vallhovs säteri (Linnaeus chamber), also outside Uppsala. It will be the second advent. It's fun to try a different place.
I imagine the one in the Old Town is super cosy!

Christmas markets, it can be a bit cosy One year we did 13 Christmas markets across Europe and that was probably too many.
We liked the Julita Christmas market but we discovered it was very early this year, at the end of October. So we missed it this year. Gothenburg and Liseberg is also a Christmas market that is nice to visit.

Hasse Olsson says:
Christmas at Fredriksdal is usually really nice.

Ekenäs Castle between Norrköping and Linköping. Nice Christmas market Thursday to Sunday.

Anna Nilsson Spets says:
I have always liked Ängsö Castle, where I bought freshly shot pheasant. Belgium is full of Christmas markets, they start around this time and last until New Year, every weekend. Some towns have stalls where you can do some shopping, other smaller towns have stalls for drinking jenever, that's it. Unfortunately there is always a lot of rubbish around, carousels and slides, loud music etc.

Lena in Wales and a bit everywhere says:
I have also visited some, but mostly Liseberg in Gothenburg for obvious geographical reasons.
