What are the 15 most beautiful places in the world? Well, there's no objective truth to that of course, but here are our 15 favourites. These are the most beautiful places in the world that we have visited.

The 15 most beautiful places in the world - in no particular order
Here we present the most beautiful places in the world, according to us, in no particular order. These are places in Europe, Asia, Africa and Oceania. We have travelled very little in North America, and not at all in South America, which is why these areas are not on the list. Welcome to be inspired by a bunch of amazing and fabulous places on our planet!
1. Corsica, France
Corsica is a stunningly beautiful island that offers paradise beaches, crystal clear waters and beautiful views. There are plenty of great places to visit such as St Florent, Saleccia Beach, Sperone and Bonifacio.
2. Cappadocia, Turkey
Cappadocia offers a fairytale setting, filled with spectacular rock formations. Every morning there are also lots of hot air balloons rising into the sky. Travelling here is an unbeatable experience!
3rd Zanzibar, Tanzania
Zanzibar is a lovely island located off the mainland of Tanzania. Some say it has become more exploited today, with many large hotels. What we remember are long white sandy beaches, shimmering green seas and swaying palm trees.
4. Bohemian Paradise, Czech Republic
The north of the Czech Republic is full of fantastic rock formations. Experience the drama of nature in Bohemian Paradise, but also in Bohemian Switzerland, where Tísa was the setting for the film Narnia.
5. Port-Cros, France
The French island of Port-Cros may be the closest thing to the Caribbean - in Europe. Mainly a national park, the island offers lush vegetation, beautiful beaches and relaxed bars.
6. Palawan, Philippines
There are many beautiful places in the Philippines, but nothing compares to Palawan, in our opinion. The landscape here, with dramatic rock formations and beautiful lagoons, is absolutely fabulous. Perfect to be experienced by boat!
7. switzerland
We are not able to choose a single place in Switzerland, as it is beautiful in so many places. Some favourites include Zermatt, Interlaken, Lucerne and Appenzell with the Hoher Kasten mountain. Wow!
8. Lago di Braies, Italy
In northern Italy, the stunning Alpine lake Lago di Braies has become popular on social media because of its beauty. There is a hotel right by the lake and a jetty with small boats. A dreamy setting!
9. New Zealand
New Zealand offers an incredibly varied and beautiful landscape, from lush greenery to glaciers. We couldn't possibly pick out a single place - it's beautiful on so many places around both the North Island and the South Island.
10. Ardeche, France
In the Ardeche region of France, nature is unrivalled, with a dramatic canyon, a long, glorious river and intensely green forests. There are also deep caves with 36,000-year-old paintings. Fascinating!
11. Cala Ganone in Sardinia, Italy
Sardinia is a stunningly beautiful island, and our favourite place is Cala Gonone on the east coast of the island. Here you'll be greeted by stunning rock formations and small, beautiful beaches that can only be reached by boat from the water.
12. Halong Bay, Vietnam
During our honeymoon, many years ago, we took a cruise in Halong Bay in Vietnam. The large wooden boats glide silently and majestically through the fabulous landscape, reminiscent of the fantasy film Avatar.
13. Saxon Switzerland, Germany
Saxon Switzerland is a stunning natural area in eastern Germany, close to the border with the Czech Republic. It's home to fascinating mountain formations, most famously the cool Bastei Bridge. Germany at its best!
14. Northern Ireland
Northern Ireland offers incredible views, especially along the coast. For example, drive along the Causeway Coastal Route and visit places like Carrick-a-Rede and the Giant's Causeway. Nature takes your breath away!
15. Guilin, China
We end with a destination that only one of us (Helena) has visited, and that a long time ago. Guilin is located in southern China and offers a fabulous landscape with sugar mountains and river magic.

Nice to see your choices.I agree with many of your choices but also have others. Difficult to choose. But I settled on the following; : Guilini south of KIna, Patagonia in South America, parts of Chile's coasts, the Tierra del Fuego belonging to both Chile and Argentina, the South Island of New Zealand, Bali, Fiji and the archipelago there, Maui in Hawaii, the High Coast in Sweden, large parts of Norway and not least the area around Lofoten. Also Corsica, Sardinia, Halong Bay, Chang Mai and Chang Rai in Thailand. The fact that I love Stockholm and the Stockholm archipelago must also be included.

Hey, fun and interesting list!
I completely agree with the places you have included and that I have visited myself but the most beautiful country in the world NORWAY has to be added to my list. Norway is unbeatable. Many places are absolutely magical, but especially Lofoten, the entire western part of the country with the long coastal strip and Geiranger, Trollstigen and Dalsnibba are something special. Norway has both mountains and fjords and this combined with the magical light, especially in summertime of course. This is unique.

What an inspiring list! I haven't visited any of the places mentioned, but Corsica is high on my own list!
It is a bit boring to write, I should mention something exotic in Bolivia, Spain or something else, but one of the most beautiful things I know is a magical Swedish spruce forest, or the Swedish west coast.

I have visited Cappadocia and Zanzibar and understand why they made your list. Well deserved.
Putting together such a list is a real challenge. I would have chosen at least Meteora on the Greek mainland, Mauritius, Kazbegi in Georgia, the cenote Aktun Chen near Akumal in Mexico and the fjords in Montenegro.
I hope to visit Corsica and Sardinia at some point, and I'm sure they will be on my list of most beautiful places as well.

Hmm, what comes to my mind to put on my list is Oahu (Hawaii), Southwest Thailand, Scottish Highlands, Zanzibar. And then of course Grövelsjön! So fantastic to have experienced all the beautiful places. And soooo many more that are left!

So nice to see the two French places again. Port Cros and Ardèche on your nice list! I'm especially happy and proud because it was from me that you got the tips and that you were as enamoured as we were! Now only the Grand Canyon is left! I also agree about the Swedish archipelago, the High Coast, Switzerland and the Italian Alpine lakes. Is so grateful for all the beautiful things you have seen through all the trips - you have an endless treasure to pour out!
