Warm greetings from Johannesburg, South Africa! We are currently in this South African city, staying with friends we met while travelling in Asia. A great and exciting adventure awaits us.

Flight Stockholm - Addis Addeba - Johannesburg

We flew with Ethiopian Airlines Stockholm - Addis Adeba - Johannesburg. The flight was an excellent long-haul flight with good food and a lot of films to choose from. Nothing to complain about!

We always find long flights tiring anyway, and it was nice to get out and stretch our legs at Addis Adeba airport in Ethiopia.

We landed early in the morning in Addis, and after less than two hours continued to Johannesburg, where we landed just after lunch.

Arriving in Johannesburg, South Africa

So, finally arriving in Johannesburg in South Africa! We have friends here, whom we got to know during our last trip in Philippines, and Henri met us at the airport.

We went straight to the home of Henri and Michelle, who live in a large and beautiful villa in one of the city's suburbs, and who generously invited us to stay with them. We had a lot to talk about, of course, and in the evening there was wine on their roof, with a completely different atmosphere. fantastic view.

The roof overlooks large parts of the Johannesburg metropolis, and what's most fascinating is that it's so incredibly beautiful. green. From the roof we could also see the spectacle of the sky, with cloud formations, rainbow and lightning.

Sights and a party to remember

The next day Henri took us to an interesting attraction near Johannesburg, which we will tell you more about later. In the evening, Henri and Michelle invited us to a party with homemade pizza in their lovely garden.

A large group of guests showed up and there was a fantastic atmosphere. Such lovely people! When it suddenly started pouring rain, and everyone quickly erected a tent roof, the atmosphere was even better, if possible. An evening we will never forget!
