La Rosière is a ski resort in the French Alps at an altitude of 1850 metres. A snow safe and popular ski resort with long slopes and lifts that go up to 2800 metres. Plenty of pistes, both easy ones for beginners and more challenging red and black slopes for more experienced skiers.
I went here with my family during the sports holidays and it was such a cosy, moderately sized skiing destination that we really liked.
Several cosy restaurants on the slopes where you could take a break with a hot chocolate or have a good lunch.
Take the skis to La Thuile
If you want even more skiing, you can ski from La Rosière to La Thuile in Italy - the same lift pass works in both ski systems and there are lifts and nice slopes all the way. In La Thuile you have even more pistes to choose from - and even more restaurants on the slopes. Read more about skiing in La Rosière here.
