Finally, we are out on this year's premiere trip with the motorhome! This year, the first trip went to Småland, where we travelled around the beautiful Glasriket for almost a week. Soon we will tell you more about everything we saw and experienced!

Finally on the road in the motorhome!
It's really great to be out with the motorhome again! This year we spent a lot of time cleaning and fixing up the car. For example, we have washed all the curtains and drapes, and fixed new hanging devices for the drapes. We have been working for a couple of weeks, and after that it felt extra fun to get out on the road! The first trip of the year went to ... Glasriket in Småland!
In the Glass Kingdom in Småland
Less than a week ago, we travelled to Kingdom of glass in Småland, a visit we make in co-operation with Glasriket. We were here a few years ago and had a super nice visit. It's great to be back! There have been return visits to some places, but above all we have aimed to see new places.
Of course, Glasriket in Småland has a strong focus on glass and glass art, and you can visit both large glassworks and smaller glassworks here. But Glasriket is more than glass and art! Among other things, there are opportunities for many wonderful nature experiences.
From our last visit, we especially remember the great visits to Vidinge Farm and Ödevata Farm Hotel, and the tour with Europe's longest zipline! This time we have, among other things, looked at delicious tree houses, got acquainted with moose and relaxed on a sauna raft. One thing that is common to both visits: all the fantastic entrepreneurs and people we meet!

Best this week
The best this week is of course the trip to Glasriket in Småland! We have had a fantastic week with very varied experiences. Cosy motorhome life, wonderful nature and a lot of art and culture. In addition, many nice meetings with wonderful people!

The week ahead
We are slowly finishing our trip in Glasriket, and will then roll back up to Stockholm. We are going to lift our houseboat (!) which is a big project, so we have to be home for a while.

We woke up on Böda Sand with Jikitas and two hundred other adventurers. Our next stop will be the glass kingdom, where I have deep roots, discovered in my genealogy. Among other things, I will visit Klasatorpet in Långasjö where my family has lived for over a hundred years. Klasatorpet is known as Korpamoen in Troell's film Utvandrarna. Another super place in the glass kingdom is Vissefjärda, where my grandmother was born in 1881. There, the local community association makes super good potato brandy, which, however, must be purchased at the company in Emmaboda. Cheers to you!
