Which is the best restaurant at Arlanda? There are of course several answers to this question, but we are prepared to vote for the newly opened La Girafe by Pontus Fritiof. Wow, what a good dinner we had here!

What is the best restaurant in Arlanda?
The offer at Arlanda is constantly evolving and you can read about new restaurants, cafés and shops all the time. But which is the best restaurant at Arlanda? Opinions differ, of course, but La Girafe by Pontus Fritiof is definitely a hot candidate for the spot.
The Giraffe by Pontus Fritiof
The restaurant La Girafe by Pontus Fritiof is divided into two sections: Food & Bar, with a focus on slightly faster servings and bistro, where you can enjoy table service in peace and quiet. The theme of the restaurant is a multicultural Paris, also drawing inspiration from former French colonies, such as Morocco and Vietnam.
La Girafe Food & Bar
The bar area at La Girafe boasts Arlanda's largest selection of spirits and an exciting cocktail menu.
There is also an extensive menu of meals, bar snacks and desserts. In addition, a buffet breakfast is served in the mornings, between 05 and 10 am.
La Girafe Bistro
In the bistro, the pace is slower and you can browse an interesting menu of starters, main courses and desserts, as well as a wide range of wines.
There are views of the runway, and at one point you can even peek into the kitchen to see the chefs preparing the dishes.
Dinner with starter and main course
We had dinner here, on the way to Uzbekistan, together with fellow blogger Christian from Food and travel blog and Gunilla from 4000 mil. As the restaurant is located in terminal 5, after the security check, we could sit here in peace and quiet until it was time for boarding.
This was a very nice start to the trip and as usual, when travelling with bloggers, there was a lot of photography and filming at the dinner table.
So what did we eat? We ordered some different starters in the form of tuna sashimi, Vietnamese spring rolls and honey baked brie. Everything tasted very good!
When it came to the main course, three of us opted for bouillabaisse, while one went for veal schnitzel. The fish stew in particular was fantastic, with coconut and lobster sauce and perfectly cooked vegetables. We can still dream about this stew and we will gladly come back just to eat this!
So, is La Girafe the best restaurant at Arlanda?
So, is La Girafe by Pontus Fritiof the best restaurant at Arlanda? There is of course no right or wrong answer to that question, but for us this is a clear favourite and we will very much so back!

What fun with a good restaurant at Arlanda. Have missed this and those that have existed have been expensive and quite mediocre.
And even breakfast is nice to eat here. Often if we have departure before 10 am, we stay at Clarion at Sky City and then a really good breakfast is always included and you can also bring a packed lunch in a bag. But more options are good- Often we also have the opportunity to sit down in one of the lounges at Arlanda but unfortunately their range is quite mediocre. On the other hand, we don't pay anything for either the seat or the food.
Will definitely try The Girafe at some point.

Fun with a new and also a French restaurant at Arlanda and inside the security check as well. Funny that French cuisine seems to be experiencing a renaissance right now in greater Stockholm.
