Happy Friday! We're hanging out in the houseboat in Stockholm, living the houseboat life, meeting friends and eating good food. And of course we work too! How has your week been? What are your plans for the weekend?

Houseboat life
We are living the houseboat life at the moment, and we really love life in the houseboat and in the marina.
We have thought about travelling with the motorhome again, but it probably won't happen right now. For now, we want to enjoy being at home, while of course using the time to work and get a lot of practical things in order.
Isn't it nice in Pampas marina, where we live? We like the marine environment with floating villas, houseboats, pleasure boats, seabirds, restaurant and businesses.
Updated caravan sites
One thing we have fixed on the website is that we have updated our caravan site lists. Among other things, we have updated with Caravan parks in Hälsingland and Caravan parks in Dalarna. As usual, you can find all the lists of pitches in the menu, under the heading "Pitches"!
Good food and friends
There has been a lot of good food here at home, and several meetings with good friends. For example, how about gratinated chanterelle sandwiches and mussels with split potatoes? Yum, we say!
Among other things, our friends Lennart and Beata have been visiting. So Good to see you! They are moving to Spain soon, so maybe in the future we will see each other in southern Europe!
Visit to Taracci
Peter has also taken the opportunity to visit his friend (and absolute favourite designer!) Feyo, who runs the Taracci store on Gamla Brogatan in Stockholm. On his last visit, he was photographed at Taracci's Instagram account. Have you checked out the shop? Great looking and original men's clothing for all men who dare a little more!
Best this week
The best part of this week? We have enjoyed being at home in the houseboat, and it has also been fun to meet several different lovely friends. That goes a long way, doesn't it? What has been the best part of your week?
The week ahead
We'll probably continue to hang out in Stockholm for a while longer, while we prepare for the Elmia fair. A really good week with good weather. And you have also had a good time. Understand that it is nice to be "home". We live a bit like you, in a marine environment and on the quay but with "solid ground" under our feet. There is always something to see and experience. So both on the quay and in the water.
This week we had a nice visit to Kulturhuset's rooftop bar, the delicious Pelagio rooftop bar on Gondolen. A positive experience was also "Vattentorget" under Slussen. Stockholm still has plenty of tourists, and it's really nice that so many people come here. Good dinners with friends have also been here and cosy moments in the sun on our balcony with a wide view. And it's always fun to see what's happening here in the canal.

You really have a nice living environment in the marina and Stockholm has had an incredibly nice summer weather. We have had a nice week, partly on the roll with a meeting in the Laika club in Kristinehamn and then a few days in Dalarna and a last stop in Karlskoga. When we got home we went chanterelle hunting with decent results so today it will be a meat dinner with chanterelles. Now Laikan will rest until Elmia but we will not be idle for that.... We are preparing for a crayfish party, a birthday party and a train journey to friends in Uppsala...

Perfect with Lennart and Beata moving to Spain. Then you know where to go on holiday with or without a motorhome next year; -)
Peter's jacket is soooo heavenly delicious. Saw on Taracci's Instagram that Peter's son Robin is also a model - cool:-)

Yes, it will probably be a trip to Spain next year 😉 And yes, hehe, fun that you discovered that Robin was also in the picture at Taracci! The store has moved around a bit, but it feels like it ended up "right" on Gamla Brogatan! 🙂

Great week for you! Here too. We have had visitors from Holland and one from Germany. Both couples we met during our time living in a motorhome full time!
I'm a little jealous of the chanterelle sandwich there! Will probably be a pie tonight with mushrooms.
In the coming week, preparations for the book fair in Gothenburg will begin in earnest. I'm wondering if we'll have time for the Elmia Fair. We shall see!
