Time really does fly when you're at a trade fair! It's busy all the time, and just like that, another fun day has whizzed by, filled with inspiration and meetings with friends, readers and new acquaintances ... Happy Friday!

Full steam ahead at Elmia Caravan Motorhome

We have been, and still are, busy at the Elmia Husvagn Husbil fair! We first planned to organise the Destination Square (a place with travel-related exhibitors) next to the Destination Stage, in Rydberg Hall. However, the location was not quite right, so we have moved. We, and the other travel-related exhibitors, have now moved to Lobby South!

Welcome to our stand! Here you can chat about travelling and destinations. We also offer film screenings, information leaflets, brochures about the Göta Canal, the opportunity to sign up for our newsletter and ... sweets!

Above all, we enjoy meeting you to talk about your travels and travel plans! We also have to say that we've been incredibly pleased by all the people who have come up to us and said fantastic things about FREEDOMtravel and our reports. This is something we can live on for a long time, and it only makes it even more fun to continue!

Right next to us you will find other exhibitors with travel inspiration. Don't miss Glasriket, Dragsö Camping and Sveriegturisten, which has information on lots of Swedish destinations.

Lectures on the Destination Stage

A new feature this year, on the Destination Stage in Rydberg Hall, is that there are more travellers/bloggers/influencers than ever lecturing. All of them have attracted good audiences, not least MotorhomeAnnika and GlampingExplorer,

The programme continues from Friday to Sunday. You can find all lectures at our Destination Square page and on Elmia page with the daily programme. We will give two more lectures:

Some time to look around the fair...

Have we had time to look around the fair? Not much... However, we plan to look around some more. Maybe in the last hour of the fair days, and on Sunday, we can take our time. We need to look around properly to write reports. However, the ambition is for at least one of us to be on the stand the whole time, if you want to come and meet us!

Best this week

The best thing this week? Yes, it is of course to get the chance to hang out at Elmia Husvagn Husbil again this year. It's interesting to see all the new products, but it's also great fun to meet all the friends, partners and readers. Admittedly, it's quite tough to be at a trade fair, but it also gives a lot of energy back.

The week ahead

Of course, we'll be at the Elmia fair until closing time on Sunday, and after that the big job of packing up the stand and heading home awaits us. But we won't be dragging our feet...
