Autumn travel and plans

We now run the travel magazine FREEDOMtravel full-time and we work location-independently. That's why we do a lot of travelling of different kinds. Mostly we travel because we love discovering new places, and writing reports about them.

For practical reasons, of course, we have to tinker and fix, work with various partners, combine travel with work assignments and the like to make everything go together. Autumn has now begun to crystallise with a long list of exciting destinations and plans.

Sometimes we travel by motorhome, and sometimes by other means

Elmia Caravan Motorhome in Jönköping

Coming up soon is the fair Scandinavian Caravan Show in Jönköping 11-15 September. It will be five days packed with motorhomes, caravans, accessories, destinations, inspirational lectures, award ceremonies, dancing, Oktoberfest and a lot more. Crazy fun! You can meet us at Destination Square in the Congress Centre and on the Destination Stage in Rydberg Hall! Hope to see you there!

Greece

Almost immediately after the Elmia fair, we are travelling to Greece, where we will discover Rhodes and Karpathos. We are doing the trip in cooperation with the local tourism organisation in Karpathos, while the trip is partly private. We have travelled very little in Greeceso we are looking forward to it!

Travel fair at the Senior Festival

The Senior Fair has been renamed the Senior Festival, and as part of the Senior Festival in Stockholm 1-3 October there is now "Travel fair". In other words, there will be even more focus on travel than in previous years! We will be there with a stand, and we will also be giving lectures on the travel fair stage, both on nature experiences and on exciting cities in Europe.

Innsbruck in Austria

Later in October, we will be travelling to Innsbruck, Austria, on a kind of press trip in cooperation with the Austrian Tourist Office. We like Austria very much, but we have never been to Innsbruck, so it will be fun to discover this city!

Blidö in the Stockholm archipelago

A visit to Blidö in the Stockholm archipelago in mid/late October may be the last motorhome trip of the year. Peter's brother Micke lives there with his family, and they are organising a seafood feast for family and friends.

Georgia

At the end of October, we are planning to spend a week or so in Georgia with a friend who is a freelance journalist. Georgia has been on our wish list for a long time because of the beautiful mountains, the historical sites and not least the famous wine (the country is usually described as the "cradle of wine"). To discover this country must be incredibly exciting!

More travel plans for late autumn/winter?

September and October are fully booked at this point. We do not yet know what will happen in November and December, it remains to be seen.

Guest writers on the move

It's not just us who write for freedomtravel.se but also our guest writers. This autumn we have travel reporters who look into, among other things Turku and Lithuania, so you can expect reports from these places too!
