Here you can see a selection of this year's travel and leisure fairs in 2025. We have collected public fairs and festivals that focus on travelling, living abroad, cars, boats, camping, outdoor life, hunting & fishing, adventure, food & drink and the like. Most of the fairs are held in Sweden, but you will also find some major events in our closest neighbouring countries.

Wow, there are so many fairs! I rarely visit them, but I have been to the Book and Library Fair several times. We used to have a car fair here in our little town but it went to the grave in connection with the pandemic. Very sad because there were many gems for cars on display.

Nowadays I mostly like the Book Fair in Gothenburg and "Allt för sjön" and the Travel Fair in Stockholm. Have often also ended up at some smaller wine fairs.

Yes there are plenty of fairs, unfortunately I never plan anymore, everything works when they are a Fair I would like to see, yes then they will be so. The ones I look forward to the most and hope to visit are Nostalgia Festival in Ronneby 28 June, no they are not a fair 🙂

With the boat show "Allt för Sjön", the Swedish Exhibition Centre in Gothenburg has taken a scalp. The fair has always been a flagship for Stockholmsmässan in Älvsjö. By the way, I read that we will soon have no fair premises left in Älvsjö. The fair is moving to Kista. Ooooops!

Yes, Stockholmsmässan in Älvsjö will close down, we know that. But will everything move to Kista? It sounds difficult to find space there ...? (By the way, Allt för sjön is still in Älvsjö. It is the "Boat Show" that is in Gothenburg)

Hi Helena! Wow so MANY fairs you have time for! You work and exhibit at the fairs! It is important to be seen! Do you have a travel company? I do not miss the Book Fair in Gothenburg, so fun but intense! completely exhausted after one day! Soon I'm going to the Book Fair here in Norrköping. I would love to go to FORMEX sometime. But it's only for professionals. Back in the 80s I always went to the Fashion Fair in Älvsjö. It was fun!!!

Hi Anna! We exhibit at some of these fairs (Seniormässan, Resemässan, Elmia Husvagn Husbil and Stockholm Husbil Husvagn above all) but not all. Of course it is important to be seen! We have the digital travel magazine freedomtravel.se (which we finance with adverts) and we are starting a travel agency. I would love to visit the book fair at some point, and you have heard a lot about Formex. Have a great time!

When I worked for YouDo (a small company similar to Panduro), we attended various trade fairs in Frankfurt, Hong Kong and Birmingham and exhibited ourselves at Formex. It's tough to be at a trade fair with stand construction and so many meetings. It's important to be alert all the time! I loved that time, have so many great memories from these fairs! Even memory of swollen ankles... 😅 Good luck at the fairs you will stand at.

The highlight every year has to be the Senior and Travel Fair at Stockholmsmässan in Älvsjö. Over the years we always meet Peter and Helena there.

The focus is on southern Europe (many different countries), but other countries of the world are also represented such as Thailand etc.
