This week has been a week of events with lots of travel inspiration. Two events took place at the same time - Jordan and Japan - and in order not to miss anything, we split up. In addition, there is a fair right now: Stockholm Husvagn Husbil!
Table of contents
Inspirational event about Jordan
Jordan is a country that really appeals to us, but which we have not yet visited. I (Helena) listened this week to a presentation that gave even more inspiration. On our wish list is to visit places such as Petra, Wadi Rum and Aqaba one day.

Another exciting thing about Jordan is that many different films have been shot in the country, due to its special environments, such as Indiana Jones, Star Wars and Dune.

When will we go to Jordan? No idea, but the destination has definitely climbed higher on our list now!

Inspirational event about Japan
When I (Helena) was at the Jordan event, Peter attended an event on Japan. This Asian country describes itself as having a lot in common with the Nordic countries, and now there is also a convenient direct flight. Japan is an exciting country that attracts us with its culture, and at the event Peter got to try different kinds of sake.

Stockholm Caravan Motorhome
Right now, the "Stockholm Husvagn Husbil" fair is taking place at Stockholmsmässan in Älvsjö. A lot of fun! The fair has been fully booked with exhibitors for a long time and virtually all brands on the Swedish market are represented.
There are also lots of other things happening, and we lecture on picturesque towns in Germany every day at 14:00. You can find the full lecture programme here!

Best this week
Best this week? Well, this week has been a good one with inspiring events and fun week!
Your turn .... what has been the best part of your week?

The week ahead
We will be at the fair "Stockholm Husvagn Husbil" on 13-16 March, and lecture every day at 14:00. After that, we're going on a much more exotic journey - we'll tell you more soon! Follow us here and on Instagram at @freedomtravelnews!

What a wonderful week you have had with travel information about upcoming destinations... and so fair on it! We have also had a nice week when we hardly had time to do more than go home and turn round. First two birthday celebrations at the weekend, then a Helsinki cruise Monday-Wednesday and now we're on the Stockholm train at the crack of dawn to catch up with JoY. Next week we hope to bring Laikan out of winter hibernation...,

A pleasant and rewarding week. I have fond memories of Jordan. Was there many years ago on a tour. Can absolutely understand that you are keen on a trip there.
Japan is still a blank page for us. But we'll see how much longer....
A good week here with some fun jobs, meeting with friends, training, night out with a friend at Urban Deli at Nytorget where we ate good oysters, soup theatre, etc.
Wishing you a great weekend.
But wonder if you did not write the wrong month in the post. Thought it was now in March you would be at the motorhome fair. You have written September ...

I feel there are lots of destinations that inspire me, but I don't think there will be much travelling in the future. One sister-in-law in New Zealand, one in Australia - this is the biggest draw. The Japanese sushi looks enormously delicious! Otherwise, I have had a generally pleasant week with nice meetings with friends and family members. I will take that with me into the weekend!

Here the eyes got something to look at again and the stomach something to drool over again:-)
Jordan - yes, but not now given the situation in the Middle East. Japan has been on my bucket list for many years now. I hope I get to realise my long-standing dream at some point. If not, I can always check in here with you; -)

Both Jordan and Japan seem to be exciting destinations that I definitely want to experience.
The best part of this week for me has been the visit to a village inhabited by one of Panama's indigenous peoples, and all the nice beaches I have visited.

I've read about Japan, dreamed about it, I don't think I'll be travelling there, I'll be eating Swedish sushi with my grandchildren.
