Misinformation about LPG test requirements in Germany
Consumer organisations M Sweden recently sent out a press release stating that Germany requires an approved LPG test to enter the country. This news was published in several industry magazines, including FREEDOMtravel. Now we are announcing The National Association of the Caravan and Motorhome Industry (HRF) that the information is incorrect.
HRF has checked the facts with its sister organisation CIVD in Germany. It is true that Germany imposes requirements for an approved leak test, but these requirements only apply to vehicles with a German licence plate. However, some campsites may have their own requirements for an approved leak test.

We really think the train is outstanding for getting to Gothenburg or Stockholm. In addition, we get off in the city centre. Then we hope that at some point they will catch up with the neglected maintenance of the tracks so that the timetables hopefully keep better even though we rarely or never experienced any major delay.
Good if it finally gets sorted out in terms of driving licences and the gas test is ordered in connection with inspection regardless of compulsion or not.

It's actually quite good that you can't drive any size of motorhome on the standard B-card. But I'm sure there will be outraged voices about that too.
Happy Monday!

Have long had Bilbao on the list of places to visit, but not yet been off even though we passed close with the motorhome. And now we live closer than we ever did 🙂 Well, there will be a day for Bilbao for us too. Amsterdam we have visited several times, like that city, although I got withdrawal afterwards from all passive smoking 😀
