On Sunday, we visited the Tumbo Fair 2025. What a draw and what an atmosphere! We have never visited this fair before (not sure why really), but now it finally happened. And we don't regret it!

Tumbo Fair 2025 - at Tumbo Caravans & Motorhomes
The Tumbo Fair is organised every year by Tumbo Caravans & Motorhomes, located in Kvicksund, just outside Eskilstuna. At Tumbo - which is celebrating its 60th anniversary this year - you will find new and used motorhomes and caravans, as well as a workshop and a well-stocked accessories shop. In addition, there is a car park with 20 electric pitches for motorhomes - all year round, completely free of charge. What a service!
The 2025 Tumbo Fair was organised over two days (Saturday-Sunday) and we visited the fair on Sunday. As soon as we arrived, we learnt that the Saturday had attracted over 4,000 visitors - incredible!

Sunday was somewhat quieter, but we still found the fair to be intense with plenty of visitors and relatively long (but fast!) queues for the free (!) hot dogs.

Many motorhomes, camper vans and caravans
Both indoors and outdoors, you could peek into lots of motorhomes and caravans. It was clear that the tiny caravans were popular - but also the more spacious motorhomes.
In every glass booth, salespeople were busy talking and many of the vehicles had red "Bought" signs on them. Sales were no doubt also influenced by Tumbo's various jubilee offers, in connection with their 60th anniversary.

Among other things, we looked into Dethleffs Alpha with a U-sofa - a type of interior that you are otherwise more used to seeing in caravans. Fun with variety and different types of solutions!

Many exhibitors - accessories, magazines, associations
The Tumbo Fair was not just about vehicles and trailers. In fact, more than 30 different exhibitors were there, such as accessory manufacturers, cleaning products, magazines, clubs and campsites. For us it was fun both to meet up with old acquaintances and to look at different news.
We talked to, among others The Sweden tourist, which offers free brochures and maps from all over the country. They told us that their stand had been so busy that they had had to quickly replenish their stock of brochures.

We also stopped by at Wool beds, which offers chair covers and furnishings for motorhomes. Many interested customers also stopped here, not least to look at the cosy chair covers.

Peter also sat down on one of the cosy cushions, and he could have stayed here for a while ...

We also talked to Wifi.se (by far the best internet solutions for mobile travellers!), All about the motorhome/Motorhome School (super knowledgeable about motorhomes!), Motorhome mates (with the new Ställplats app) and The carpet giant (moulded carpets for motorhomes and caravans). And many others!

A great atmosphere!
The Tumbo Fair 2025 offered a really great atmosphere. The feeling was familiar and welcoming. Of course, it is also exemplary to be greeted by free parking, free parking space (for the few who managed to snatch a spot in good time!), free entry, free hot dogs, free drinks, free coffee and free packed cake table. Wow!
As if that wasn't enough, there was also free entertainment. Linda Bengtzing both sang and talked about her love for the tinker life.
Not least, it was nice to meet friends and acquaintances, both among the exhibitors and in the crowd. We are happy that we found our way to the Tumbo Fair 2025 - there can certainly be more visits in the future!

Have you visited the Tumbo Fair?
Have you visited the Tumbo Fair, this year or any other year? Or perhaps you have tried the free Tumbo car park at some point? How was your experience?

We arrived on Friday and walked around and looked in an almost empty exhibition hall. On Saturday there were definitely a lot more people but given that it's so big we didn't find it crowded. We bought two chairs and ordered woollen slippers for me.
Too bad we passed each other, we left there on Sunday. Maybe see you on Friday at Älvsjö.

Have not visited, of course. But can imagine how much fun it must be. I would love to walk around there in all the motorhomes and check them out.
My and Peter's dream is to buy a small motorhome, or van, when P retires. Drive around in it for several months every year. AHHH!!!
Sat and watched Kara and Nate's latest on YouTube. They had borrowed an EarthRoamer ... what a j-a motorhome. The price makes it go away for us, haha. But damn so cool.
I understand that you enjoyed attending this fair.

I have never heard of the fair, which has its natural explanation that I do not own a caravan / motorhome. What a large area the Tumbo fair took place on. And all for free - a really nice alternative compared to otherwise expensive prices at fair restaurants.

Yes, it feels very nice when everything is free! 🙂 It has its explanations that it will be different in the large exhibition halls, but yes, this was nice!

I have never visited that show, but would really like to do it sometime. Not really interested in changing motorhomes, but it is fun to see the range and also equipment. Can imagine that there were long queues for the hot dogs: D
