Now there are experience packages for you with a motorhome! When we started planning our travel agency, FREEDOM Xplore, it was clear to us that we wanted to include a bunch of experience packages for everyone travelling by motorhome.

Experience packages for you with a motorhome
What is an experience package for motorhome travellers? We think it's something sea than a pitch or camping site. In other words, the focus is on an experience - for example, dinner, wine tasting, spa, sauna, canoe trip, guided tour or similar - combined with an overnight stay in your own motorhome.
We already have a bunch of great campervan packages in the travel agency, and we are continuously working to get more in. In fact, we have a bunch going on right now, but it takes time to tie everything together around the packages - there are many details to be decided.
We'll let you know when there are more, and in the meantime, here are some great packages - all in places we've been to ourselves and highly recommend!
1. Småland: Gastropub with two-course dinner in the countryside
On Saturdays in spring 2025, motorhome travellers will be offered overnight accommodation together with a delicious two-course dinner in the cosy pub at Vidinge Farm in Glasriket in Småland. Vidinge Gård is a nature-orientated, family and dog-friendly guesthouse, surrounded by vast natural areas that are ideal for hiking, dog walking, cycling, fishing and all kinds of adventures, as well as relaxation.
In this package, uniquely designed for FREEDOM Xplore, you can enjoy a well-composed dinner menu and a cosy pub feeling, in the middle of the countryside. It also includes a pitch with electricity, water, toilet and shower.
Our personalised tips: Don't miss out on visiting Johan and Eva-Lena at Vidinge farm! This package is particularly suitable for those who like nature and good food cooked with love, and for those who have a dog. There is also the possibility of adventure with "packrafting"! In the neighbourhood you can experience the whole nice Kingdom of glass, with glassblowing, art and nature experiences.
2. Dalarna: Overnight stay with tapas and breakfast
Treat yourselves to a luxurious and scenic motorhome holiday at Marcus Farm in the Näsets in Dalarna, with fantastic nature and food experiences! This campervan package includes a delicious tapas tray and sparkling wine for two people, a tasty breakfast for two people made from local ingredients, a hiking booklet with eight great hiking trails in the area, and free use of mountain bikes, SUP boards and canoe.
In addition, you have free access to toilet, shower, water, electricity and washing machine. This exclusive motorhome package offers a unique motorhome experience beyond the ordinary!
Our personalised tips: Take the chance to visit Willem and Mireille at cosy Marcus Farm in the Näsets! Here you can live uniquely in Oddis Eye (which we did), but it is also possible to spend the night in a scenic location in your own motorhome. Either way, you won't want to miss the amazingly good locally produced food! There is a lot to see and experience nearby around Siljan!
3. Blekinge: Camp & Relax with sauna raft and delicatessen tray
Just a stone's throw from Karlskrona's charming city centre awaits Dragsö Camping - an idyllic oasis where you can experience the tranquillity of the archipelago and the glittering island world of Blekinge. Here you can wake up in your campervan, overlooking the water, and perhaps lace up your boots for a nice hike through the greenery.
This "Camp & Relax" package includes a wonderful sauna experience on Dragsö's popular floating sauna raft and a tempting cheese and charcuterie tray. It also includes a caravan park with electricity and access to a fresh service house. The package can be booked for one or more motorhomes and for up to 11 people.
Our personalised tips: Dragsö Camping is really incredibly scenic and beautiful. A gem! We liked, among other things, the "Troll Forest" and the nice walking paths. In addition, there are many other nice things to experience in Karlskrona, such as for example Maritime Museum and all the different islands.
4. Småland: Motorhome package with floating sauna
In Glasriket in Småland you will find cosy and peaceful Ödevata Farm Hotel, where there are also pitches for motorhomes. Here you can enjoy the peace and quiet, the lush landscape and the beautiful lake, where you can also fish if you wish.
This package includes a fantastic 3-hour sauna experience, in a private wood-fired sauna on a floating raft in the still lake. Also included is a guided tour of Ödevata's unique environmental project and an overnight stay at the campsite, where you have access to electricity, toilets and shower facilities.
Our personalised tips: We have visited Ödevata Farm Hotel twice, and we would love to come back. We love the tranquil setting and the exciting sustainability projects, but the best part is the sauna experience! We really enjoyed ourselves there on the raft - absolutely magical, as if we were floating on the clouds!
5. Dalarna: 2 nights of hiking and dining experiences
Treat yourself to a two-day luxury motorhome package in scenic Marcus Farm in the Näsets in Dalarna, with a hike to the Ärteråsen mountain pastures! During your stay at the farm, you will enjoy a delicious tapas tray for two people one evening and a tasty vegetarian dinner the other evening, as well as two delicious breakfasts made from local ingredients. In addition, you will receive a lovely picnic basket to take with you on the 16-kilometre hike to the Ärteråsen mountain huts.
On site at Näsets Marcusgård you have, in addition to a nice place in the greenery, access to toilet, shower, washing machine, water and electricity. Welcome to enjoy two days of relaxing motorhome luxury in a scenic environment!
Our personalised tips: As I said, Näsets Marcusgård is a fantastic cosy and peaceful place, surrounded by beautiful natural areas. We also really enjoyed the local delicacies we ate here! Nearby there are also nice places to visit such as Orsa, Mora and Rättvik.
