Now we are in the Italian playa, at a campsite called Sabbiadoro, outside Lignano on the Italian coast. It looks a bit like the Canary Islands. A long fine sandy beach packed with people, sunbeds, parasols, inflatable crocodiles, pedal boats and windsurfing boards. Along the beach are high-rise hotels and restaurants.

Today we went to the salt mine in Wieliczka in Poland. We were not completely alone, so to speak. A lot of queuing was part of the visit. First you had to queue to buy tickets, then to get in and last (but not least) to get out again. Despite this, it was a very interesting and fascinating visit. Even if you're not planning to buy a new motorhome, it's fun to walk around the Elmia fair and look at all the new models. There were a lot of fresh new cars, but still we sometimes find that our imagination doesn't go very far. Many of the cars are quite similar when you look inside them.

Now camping comes with all-inclusive. I don't understand it at all... I don't like all-inclusive in hotels, so why would I want it in a campsite? We got a motorhome for the freedom to go wherever we want and to get a new view every day. Not to have "everything" within a fence.

Dziwnow, in northeastern Poland, offers a wonderful holiday feeling in the summer. We found it more or less by chance and discovered a real gem with beautiful beaches, swaying palm trees (!) and plenty of restaurants and holiday activities.
