Today we went to the salt mine in Wieliczka in Poland. We were not completely alone, so to speak. A lot of queuing was part of the visit. First you had to queue to buy tickets, then to get in and last (but not least) to get out again. Despite this, it was a very interesting and fascinating visit. Oh, it's so much fun to go shopping in Ukraine! There aren't as many chains as in other European cities, but lots of small shops. The most fun is walking around Metrograd, a huge underground mall that stretches between several metro stations. Here you can find everything from clothes and shoes to interior design, gifts and all sorts of unexpected items.

Yesterday we moved to Hotel Ukraina here in Kiev. Nice with a little change! A little walk with the bags over Independence square in Kiev ... Our new hotel is big and grand, but at the same time it is a bit Eastern European.

Dziwnow, in northeastern Poland, offers a wonderful holiday feeling in the summer. We found it more or less by chance and discovered a real gem with beautiful beaches, swaying palm trees (!) and plenty of restaurants and holiday activities.

It was finally time for Sensation White in Oslo 2011, with the theme Ocean of White. Eight hours of dancing to great DJs and a fantastic show with lights, lasers, fountains, fires and dancers. A really cool experience together with 23,000 people dressed in white.

Skokloster camping (or Sånka camping as it seems to be called on the signs here) is located on Skohalvön in Håbo municipality, not far from Skokloster Castle. The campsite is beautifully situated by the water and has a large area for campers, although at first you hardly notice all the caravans between the trees.

This weekend we drove to Kapellskär, outside Norrtälje. We've set up at Kapellskär's campsite and focused on a quiet weekend with some good food and a good book. Sometimes it is nice to just get out in nature somewhere, without any special plans.

Last night it was grilled chicken thigh fillet with split potatoes and feta cheese scrambled here at Kapellskär's campsite. the evening was cold, so it was to grill outside and then have it cosy inside the motorhome. Finally, we have a completely free weekend and the opportunity to go out with the motorhome. We have taken a rather short turn and stopped at Bredsands camping in Enköping. Here you stand nicely by the water and the sun warms gently - not bad at all!
