Now we have played golf in the Czech Republic, and it was actually the first time we played golf. ever. Very fun to try! Afterwards there was a relaxed afternoon and evening at Camp Olesna on Lake Olesna. Nice holiday atmosphere in the 28-degree heat!

Dolni Vitkovice and Bolt Tower in Ostrava, Czech Republic, are for those who like industrial history or raw industrial environments. Steel and iron were once worked here, and the heat in the blast furnaces was extreme. Today you can take guided tours as a tourist and check out the view of the area from the 80 metre high Bolt Tower.

The Nicolaus Copernicus House in Torun is a museum that tells the story of the life of the astronomer Copernicus, and of life in the 15th and 16th centuries in this part of the world. Copernicus was the first to prove that the Earth orbits the sun and not the other way round, and he did this at a time when the telescope had not even been invented. A fascinating man! Moreover, the museum is located in a beautiful and interesting city.
