Saturday night in Avesta

Our little weekend trip started with a night at the car park in Strängnäs. Then we continued to Avesta, where we stayed in the car park outside Coop ... We first thought of continuing on somewhere, but then we ended up staying. We cooked a really good dinner in the motorhome, and then we decided to try the nightlife in Avesta. A really good evening!

As you may know, I lecture from time to time. One of the advantages of this is that you get to visit a lot of different nice and interesting places in Sweden (conferences are often held in old fine farms, mansions, world houses and mills). Today I have been to Gysinge Bruk in Gästrikland.

Cooking in your campervan - our top tips

Last month we asked about cooking in the motorhome. Most people answered that they usually "cook something simple", although many also "cook something delicious". Kitchens in modern motorhomes are good, but of course you have less space to move around than at home and it's nice to not have too many pots and pans.

Of course you want to take the opportunity to eat seafood in Smögen. The very best seafood is supposed to be here, and if there's one thing we really love, it's prawns, crayfish, crabs and the like.
