What an amazing experience to be at a Kenyan wedding! They told us that this was a small wedding because there were "only" 400 guests. In our eyes it was of course a huge wedding. Moreover, a fantastic wedding with beautiful clothes, joy and dancing.

Nairobi is full of people, cars and commerce. There are both central areas, where people walk around in suits on their way to work, and slum suburbs where you are advised to lock your car door and not go out. We spent a few days in Nairobi, before and after attending an amazing wedding in Kenya.

Our most dramatic journey - Kenya during the 2007 elections

Today, Kenya has voted in favour of a new constitution, and according to DN, the election went smoothly. Things were different in 2007/2008, when 1,300 people were killed in violence between different ethnic groups. We were going on holiday and had bought a plane ticket to Nairobi.
