Of all the trips we've ever taken, there's one that beats all the others, and that's our year-long motorhome trip around Europe in 2015. The absolute best thing that happened this week is that we are now booked to speak at Caravan Stockholm 2018. It will really be so fun! Also, we got a refund on a deal we had completely given up on, and we are preparing the 5-course dinner for the weekend. Happy Friday!

Hello in the winter darkness! It's Peter in the motorhome and now it's thumbs down time. After very many conversations with the insurance company Motormännen, specialists, inspectors and workshops, there will be no compensation for the damage that happened to the motorhome a year ago on the way to Kristinehamn. 90 % of all motorhomes are built on Fiat chassis and think about which insurance company you have. It could be you next time and it will be costly! Keep up!

Thinking the motorhome season is over? We think it's perfect to experience autumn in a motorhome. It's a bit of a shame that many campsites and pitches are already closed in October, but some are open all year round, like Jogersö camping in Oxelösund where we are now.

There has been a lot of travelling for us this year, both with and without a motorhome. Now we will actually be home in Sweden for a while, and now we can instead look forward to the autumn motorhome trips here in our own country. The motorhome season is not over yet, and even if you have limited time off, you can still go on weekends. It will be really cozy to get out with the motorhome again!

Elmia Husvagn Husbil, the Nordic region's largest trade fair for mobile life, is often referred to as the campers' New Year's Eve. Last year, more than 36,000 people visited the fair, which is the big camping festival of the year. On 6 - 10 September it's time again, but unfortunately we won't be there this year. And now our holiday is over. When I look back at my first blog posts and see how we planned the trip, I can see that we have stayed very close to the original plan. Where we deviated from the plan was when our fridge broke down and we had to search high and low for alternative solutions. We have learnt that servicing the living area of the motorhome is difficult, almost impossible to do in Croatia.
