I have been to Varberg on a couple of occasions in the past and visited the city's attractions, such as the cosy city centre and Varberg Fortress.
This time my husband and I travelled to Varberg to enjoy a relaxing spa break at Varberg's Kusthotell after an intense period of life.

Snibbens Camping in Höga kusten is located on a headland with fantastic views. You come here to enjoy the tranquillity and nature, and perhaps to swim, cycle, paddle or visit various exciting places in the High Coast World Heritage Site.

If you want to see something different, visit Mannaminne in Nordingrå, in the High Coast. Mannaminne can be described as an open-air museum, but also as a place for art, culture and concerts. One thing is certain, there is hardly any other place like it in all of Sweden!

The pulpit on Getsvedjeberget - could it be the High Coast's best photo spot? We had seen pictures of the spectacular protruding rock and wondered where to find it. Then we discovered that the hike started from the campsite where we were standing - Skulebergets Havscamping!

What is it like to hike to Slåttdalsskrevan in the High Coast? We recently hiked to this spectacular place and we were some of the last to go. through crevice. The passage is now closed for safety reasons, but you can still hike to Slåttdalsskrevan and see its dramatic shapes. You can also still see the fantastic views from the top of the mountain.

Axmar Brygga is a lovely seaside restaurant - with a very popular caravan park - beautifully situated on the east coast, right next to the historic Axmar Mill. It's a great place to make a stop on your way through Sweden.
