Ivön and Bäckaskog Castle in Skåne is located just northeast of Kristianstad. We were here on a very rainy day in May this year, but despite the rainy weather we had a very nice day. We also spent a long time looking for a very special horse grave.

Åhus in Skåne is a lovely holiday resort, known for its Absolut Vodka and its own ice cream. We hung out here on a sunny day in May, and had time to check out the beautiful church and enjoy an ice cream at Glassbåten.

We visited Absolut Home and The Åhus Villa in Åhus, Skåne. This is the home and origin of Absolut Vodka, and the noble drink is still produced here. Relatively new to the town is that you can visit Absolut Home and take part in the Absolut Home Experience.

Yangtorp is something as unusual as a giant qigong temple in Skåne. In the middle of the Scanian landscape, among fields, cows and cottages, rises the magnificent and ornate temple. For a long time the temple lay in ruins and was robbed of everything of value. Now it has risen again, and today qigong courses, retreats and conferences are organised here.

The Hallwylska Palace in Stockholm, or the Hallwylska Museum as it may actually be called, is one of our absolute favourite museums in the city. We have been here several times and love experiencing the beautiful rooms with the smart amenities of the time. This time we happened to step in during the opening of an exhibition by Konstfack, which made the experience a little... different.

Visiting the Vasa Museum in Stockholm is something you have to do at some point! The Vasa ship carries a lot of Swedish history and it is unique that such an old wooden ship has been salvaged and restored. We've both been here before, but it's been a long time, so it was time to visit the Vasa Museum again.
