Now we have come home to Sweden, after our tour of Poland and the Czech Republic, and our first destination here at home was Tylösand outside Halmstad. My (Helena's) mum has a summer house there and of course we wanted to come and visit. I spent all my summers as a child in Tylösand so every corner feels like home, even though a lot has changed. We had time for both an evening walk and a morning walk past several beaches in Tylösand.

Last Saturday, after the big event at the Sheraton hotel In Stockholm, a small group of bloggers met for brunch at the new design hotel Hobo Hotel on Brunkebergs torg. Yesterday morning we woke up in our cabins on the sailing ship Gratia, moored to a rock at Träskö-Storö in the Stockholm archipelago. The morning started with a great ship's breakfast with eggs and bacon, scones and porridge, and of course cleaning. Then it was time to sail to Stockholm and Strandvägen.

Yesterday we spent a whole day on board the sailing ship Gratia, which belongs to the Swedish Cruise Club Sailing School Foundation. There were many hours out in the fresh sea air. We hoisted and salvaged sails, tied knots, cruised, pumped water with the bilge pumps, slept on deck and had fun with the crew over good food in the mess hall.
