Today we had a conference with work at Stallmästaregården in Stockholm. The place is fantastically located at Brunnsviken in Haga Park and houses a restaurant, meeting rooms and hotel rooms. Parts of the house were built in the 18th century and it is fantastic that such charming and beautiful conference facilities are so close to the centre of Stockholm, with the address Norrtull.
Read moreMalmköpings bad och camping is nicely located at Hosjön. This is a 4-star campsite with good service. There is a service centre with very nice toilets, showers and a kitchen. There is even a crystal chandelier in the service centre!
Read moreWork trip today again: destination Laholm. With a flight from Bromma to Ängelholm, I was down in Skåne in just over an hour, and then it was just a car over Hallandsåsen to get to Laholm.
Read moreSummer is not over, even though some of us have started working. We went to Ängbybadet in Bromma today and sunbathed for a few hours (although it wasn't really sunny all those hours...). There are quite a few swimming spots in Stockholm actually. Do you have a favourite spot?
Read moreThis year we decided on a midsummer celebration at Rullsands camping. We were not at all prepared for the heat and had no swimwear, but it worked out anyway! Then it has become both midsummer lunch and midsummer dinner. And also some hanging out in the beach bar.
Read moreRullsands camping is a nice campsite outside Gävle. The location of the campsite is very nice and there is also a lovely sandy beach nearby. There are also cottages and the site is also known for its naturist bath. Definitely worth one or more visits!
Read moreEnd of summer at work yesterday - at Hesselby Castle. And no, it's not me spelling it wrong. The castle has recently changed owners and changed the ä to an original e. This is a rather small 17th century castle that was inhabited by the Bonde family until 1931 when the City of Stockholm bought the castle and the land to build the suburbs of Hässelby and Vällingby.
