What fantastic weather! On Friday morning we travelled by tram to Chalmers, where I was attending and speaking at a conference. Meanwhile, Peter sat outside in the sun and read a book. On Saturday evening we had a party night in Gothenburg, with a few hours at the Push nightclub.

Björknäs camping in Upplands Bro is a simpler model, but sometimes a bit of nature, a glimpse of the water, an electric pole and some toilets go a long way. We set up a good Easter lunch for ourselves outside the motorhome and then enjoyed the sun all day. What a fantastic high summer heat!

Read moreThen it was time to experience Strängnäs by motorhome! After work yesterday, we rolled with Freedom towards Strängnäs, where we have spent the night. There is a good parking space here by the water, although the service does not open until 1 May. The sun is shining, but we wonder where the famous heat has gone?

Follow the books around our elongated country and visit its well-trodden cities and paths. From the back of a goose, Nils Holgersson saw the whole of Sweden, from Skåne with its patchwork of fields to Kebnekaise. If you want to visit another classic children's book setting, you should visit Astrid Lindgren's Katthult in Lönneberga outside Vimmerby.

Read moreTrosa guest harbour is one of our favourite places when we are out with the motorhome! It's just the right distance from Stockholm and very cosy. In addition, you can park your motorhome really well here in the guest harbour. There is all the service you need, and it is always nice to be close to the water.
Read moreThere will be a motorhome campsite in Söder, Stockholm, where Tantogården was located. It will only be temporary, but in the meantime it could be a good complement to the Långholmen motorhome campsite.
Read moreFinally we are out with the motorhome again! We left work early the day before yesterday and drove all evening. Only after eleven in the evening we arrived. It is a bit difficult to find a new place when it is dark, but we parked in a car park by the water.
