We had booked a rafting trip in the Vindelälven river at noon, but when we arrived at Forsknäckarna in Ekorrsele, between Lycksele and Umeå, there had been a misunderstanding and the boats were full. We were offered our own tour at 16.00, and in the meantime we got, at no extra cost, both food and a high-altitude course. A fair deal we thought!

Peter and Billie have ridden a bit and Pontus once, but all three were positive about today's adventure! We got nice horses and got to follow the guide Mia on a wonderful trip in the forest and on the mountain.

Read morePeter's younger brother and his family and their neighbours are in Furuvik camping for the weekend. So we thought we'd surprise them a bit... We parked next to their campervan and tent at the campsite and sat down to wait for them to come back from Furuvik Park. Were they surprised? Yes, you can safely say so ...
