You wouldn't have thought that you could suffer more misery now, but lo and behold you did. This morning I woke up and went to the toilet and then I heard Peter shouting in panic from the bedroom on the lower deck: "Switch off the water!". Then our nice new sewage pump had broken ... again!

Peter likes lighting and there are many places to light up a boat, not only the roof and walls but also various small nooks and crannies. We are currently in the process of replacing all the lights with LEDs to save energy.

Houseboats of various types

Here in the marina where we live there are many different houseboats. There are aquavillas and villa voyager, which we've talked about before, but also a bunch of more "classic" houseboats. So what do I mean by that? Well, I mean all sorts of boats and barges that have been converted into permanent accommodation on water.
