A heron is a faithful guest in our marina.

It's not surprising that ducks and swans hang out in the marina. But we don't really know what the heron is doing here. At least he (she?) comes almost every day this time of year and walks around the piers.

What a summer day we had on Sunday! The thermometer showed 28 degrees and the temperature did not drop even though it was evening. What weather! One minute the sun is shining and we are enjoying ourselves with the patio door open. The next second it starts to pour.
