Some days are nicer than others to live in a houseboat in the Pampas marina. The air is still cold, but we've had several days of clear blue skies and bright sunshine. The ducks are flocking around our boat and people are sitting outside the Sea Restaurant enjoying the sun. So far, only the icebreaker occasionally chugs by, but soon the water will probably be filled with other boats as well.

Read moreThere is always something happening in the marina! A few days ago we could watch a lifeboat exercise from our window, you know with those lifeboats on big boats. They threw the lifeboat upside down and turned it in the water. It's good to see that these things are practised!
