We've had a lot of seafood in Halifax, here in Canada. This is a city on the coast, so perhaps it is not so strange that there is plenty of fish here. As you walk along the quayside, you pass one fish restaurant after another. Both the ingredients and the way they are served are slightly different from what you are used to from Sweden and Europe, but it's good!

Sometimes we make fish soup or fish stew from scratch. But sometimes it's nice to keep it simple. We start with a ready-made soup and "heat it up" with extra ingredients and spices. And we serve it with a baguette with cambozola - not bad at all!

Last month we asked about cooking in the motorhome. Most people answered that they usually "cook something simple", although many also "cook something delicious". Kitchens in modern motorhomes are good, but of course you have less space to move around than at home and it's nice to not have too many pots and pans.

Of course you want to take the opportunity to eat seafood in Smögen. The very best seafood is supposed to be here, and if there's one thing we really love, it's prawns, crayfish, crabs and the like. The fog is thick as you can see and the air is quite cold, but what does that matter when you can feast on delicious seafood?
