Here are the best travel tips

Today, we were supposed to present a story and a film about the island of Oxsten in Lake Mälaren (unexpectedly exciting!), but Peter's new Mac is at the doctor's for an indefinite period of time, so that will have to wait... Instead, we're writing about something we've been thinking about for a long time, namely how to find the best travel tips. Where do you look to find honest, personal and informative reports on different destinations? And how do you go about finding travel blogs' reports?

The car rental company Auto Europe has commissioned a study on Swedish holiday habits among a thousand adult Swedes. The results are really interesting, and now I'm curious... On board the luxurious Celebrity Silhouette

Two weeks ago, Peter had the chance to go on board the luxurious Celebrity Silhouette, which was docked in Stockholm's Stadsgården harbour. The ship belongs to Celebrity Cruises, which is part of the Royal Caribbean International brand, and on board you will find all possible amenities. There is even a large lawn!

10 animals on my bucket list

When we visited our friends Lennart and Beata at the weekend, Lennart started talking about that bird he had been trying unsuccessfully to spot for so many years. Then we walked past a canal where a beaver had taken up residence. We could see the trees that he had split in half, but of course we couldn't see the beaver. I was inspired to write about 10 animals on my bucket list - animals I hope to see before I die!

New survey: The most adventurous population

Motorhome rental company SHAREaCAMPER has released a study revealing which countries have the most adventurous population. The company chose eight adventurous activities (skydiving, surfing, skiing, mountain biking, bungee jumping, climbing, hiking and caravanning) to make the ranking. Then they looked at the number of Google searches for words associated with these activities, and divided per 100,000 inhabitants...
