We celebrate Midsummer with Peter's brother on Blidö in the Stockholm archipelago. They have a nice red cottage right by the water. Very idyllic and just what you want on a Midsummer's Eve. There are a total of 26 people here, and three motorhomes are parked around the site.

You didn't think it could get any worse, did you? But it could... Peter always drives carefully and is careful with his licence. He has never been caught speeding or anything like that - until today! He was stopped on a 30 km stretch, not outside a school or anything like that, but outside a noise barrier for a construction site. He was slowing down from 70 and was travelling at 56 km/hour.

Now it's a houseboat for us, and here we try to mix a bit of a rustic boat feel with modern furnishings in black and silver. It's a sharp contrast to how we decorated our previous apartment. You may remember that we decorated in a turn-of-the-century style: antique furniture and lots of stucco.

We made a trip with Viking Line Cinderella between Friday and Saturday. Sometimes it is nice to get away on a small trip, even if you do not go so far away. The entertainment section on Viking Line Cinderella has been rebuilt, and there is both a new nightclub and new restaurants. So what did we think?
My winter boots are completely worn out, and I really need new ones. But how difficult it is to buy shoes and boots in Sweden! Everything looks exactly look the same. Yesterday we celebrated Peter's youngest son Billie's 18th birthday. It was a festive evening in the houseboat with Billie, his older brother Robin, his wife Alexandra and Robin's little sister Felicia. Then we went to the Old Town for a bite to eat at Vapiano and on to Stureplan to dance a bit ... Now we have woken up to even more snow, and continued snowing.

Last night there was a break in everyday life with November Lights at Tele2 Arena. A long afternoon, evening and night with a number of great DJs, such as Sander van Dorn, Nause and Tiesto. Peter is working extra today, and I am at home in the boat. The neighbours pointed out to me that the start of the Mälaren Runt on MC would be at 11:00, from Pampas Marina. For the 28th year in a row, a huge group of motorcyclists gather and ride around Lake Mälaren, with various stops and activities.

Yesterday we met the couple who are buying our apartment in the flat to ask if they wanted things that we were prepared to leave behind. We have already promised them the antique dining table, but now we wanted to ask for some smaller things: shoe racks, lamps, mirrors, curtains, a guest bed ... They are a young couple living in a small studio apartment now, so they were very happy both for the move and all the stuff we left.
