Peter is working extra today, and I am at home in the boat. The neighbours pointed out to me that the start of the Mälaren Runt on MC would be at 11:00, from Pampas Marina. For the 28th year in a row, a huge group of motorcyclists gather and ride around Lake Mälaren, with various stops and activities.

Yesterday we met the couple who are buying our apartment in the flat to ask if they wanted things that we were prepared to leave behind. We have already promised them the antique dining table, but now we wanted to ask for some smaller things: shoe racks, lamps, mirrors, curtains, a guest bed ... They are a young couple living in a small studio apartment now, so they were very happy both for the move and all the stuff we left.

Those of you who follow the blog know that we have been selling our apartment - and now it is sold! The new owners will move in mid-August, and we have until then to find a new home. We are happy to stay in Sundbyberg, but are looking for a smaller apartment. The idea is to find a cheaper accommodation that is easy to rent out when we go on a long trip. The sale feels like the first step on that journey!
