What is included in Central Europe can vary. We have chosen to use the relatively narrow definition that includes Liechtenstein, Poland, Switzerland, Slovakia, Slovenia, the Czech Republic, Germany, Hungary and Austria.

Countries to visit in Central Europe
Germany is a large country with a lot to offer. Here you'll find beautiful green countryside, picturesque towns, beautiful holiday routes and many historical sights.
Switzerland and Austria are perhaps best known as winter destinations, but are also countries that are very nice in the summer. In both countries you can go hiking or cycling in the summer, for example.
The Czech Republic is famous for Prague and its good beer, but is also worth visiting for its stunning scenery and all the beautiful castles and fortresses. In Poland, there are many great cities to visit, such as Gdansk, Krakow and Wroclaw. Hungary offers Budapest, but also food, wine and trips to Lake Balaton. Central Europe simply has a lot to offer.
