Why travel to the United Arab Emirates?
The United Arab Emirates (Dawlat al-Imarat al-Arabiyya al-Muttahida) is located on the Arabian Peninsula, in Middle EastIt has a coastline mainly on the Persian Gulf, but also on the Gulf of Oman. It borders Oman to the east and Saudi Arabia to the south, and shares maritime borders with Qatar and Iran. Abu Dhabi is the capital, while Dubai is the largest city.
Dubai in particular is a popular tourist destination with hotels, shopping and beaches. It is also popular to visit the world's tallest building, the Burj Khalifa, or perhaps the capital Abu Dhabi.
