Things to see and do in Halland
Halland is a province in south-west Sweden. Halland is bordered to the south by Skåne, in the east to Småland and to the east and north to Västergötlandand has a western coastline with the Kattegat.
Tjolöholm Castle - a visit to a fairytale world
The Tjolöholm estate has been known since the 13th century and the land has been owned by a number of noble families. In 1892, Tjolöholm was bought by the Swedish-British couple James Fredrik and Blanche Dickson. They built a large stud farm for breeding thoroughbred horses. This must be one of Sweden's most beautiful castles, and as you walk through the rooms it's hard to remember to close your mouth...

Varberg - a lovely west coast town
Varberg is known for its impressive fortress, but also for its beautiful cold bath house from the last century. Halland's cultural history museum is a must, the 2.5 km long seafront promenade with all the nude baths, Varberg's coastal hotel, Rantzau cliff, the love park, the Albert and Frida water towers, Getterön with its nature room, take a boat to the exotic island of Anholt or go to Åkulla beech forests with Bexell's talking stones. Gekås Ullared - Sweden's largest tourist destination
Gekås Ullared was founded in 1963 by Göran Karlsson (GK or Ge-Kå) under the name Ge-kås Manufaktur. Today, Gekås Ullared is Sweden's largest tourist destination, with around 4.8 million visitors each year. The phenomenon has become so big that even TV series have been created in and around the department store. Join us!

Diving in the beaches of Tylösand - Svärjarehålan and Tjuvahålan
When I was a kid, we usually swam from the rocks in Tylösand, and not on the beaches, but occasionally we went to the beach called "Tjuvahålan". This family-friendly beach has a long jetty and is relatively close to the main beach in Tylösand.
Laugh and enjoy in the Vallarna Open Air Theatre.
Popular duo Stefan & Krister, who needed a permanent stage for their comedy. Today, other actors usually take the stage, which is visited by around 60,000 people every year. This is also the site of the popular Allsång på Vallarna.
Sunbathing and swimming at Skrea beach
Skrea beach offers a fine sandy beach with opportunities for sunbathing, swimming and jumping from the jetty. There are also many different activities at the beach. Here you will find, for example, Skrea Bangolf and the indoor swimming pool Klitterbadet, as well as opportunities for SUP, tennis and an outdoor gym. There are also plenty of restaurants and eateries.
