The Swedish Civil Contingencies Agency has produced a film on LPG safety in motorhomes and caravans. They write: "Keep in mind that it is no longer compulsory to have a LPG inspection when you inspect your vehicle. It is up to you to take responsibility for ensuring that your LPG installation is tight and safe. Many inspection centres offer leak testing."

Baranow Sandomierski - castle in eastern Poland

Now we have started the exciting journey eastwards in Poland! From having recently been in Krakow, where you can hear Swedish spoken here and there, we have left for "unknown" areas. The goal is the ancient forests with bison and wolves in the far east, and on the way there we try to find various interesting stops. The first stop was at the Baranow Sandomierski castle.

Umbria in Italy - among olive groves in Italy's green heart

We have to admit that we fell in love with Umbria in Italy, and we understand why this part of the country has sometimes been called the green heart of Italy. Here the olive groves are dense, the hills are intensely green, and the small medieval villages bustle with everyday life, while vegetables are bought and sold in the squares. Somehow this feels like the genuine and real Italy, far from the touristy parasol beaches on the coasts.

The motorhome trip "Beach Basket Challenge" in Germany continues and we have now travelled from camping Güster at Am Prüßsee to Ostsee camping in Zierow, outside Wismar in northern Germany.
