During the last night of the midsummer weekend, we went free camping at Lake Erken in Roslagen, at Svanberga bathing area. Here we had a fantastic view of the beautiful lake, and we were surprised by a nature reserve with impressive oak trees and ... a Viking village. Vikingabyn Storholmen is an open-air museum beautifully situated by Lake Erken in Roslagen. For a few weeks in the summer, the village is populated by a Viking association, and at certain times families with children and others are welcomed to learn more about the Viking Age and our exciting history.

This motorhome weekend started with us going to a site in Sikhjälma harbour, on the Hållnäs headland in Tierp municipality. We had a special reason to come here, but this is also a beautiful place by the sea. Here you can, among other things, experience the Kapplasse nature reserve and fantastic sunsets.
