- Watch out: You should pay attention in traffic, as there are many road accidents.
- Think about: Morocco is a Muslim country and although it is relatively tolerant, you should not, for example, show too much skin outside tourist areas. Respect local laws during your trip to Morocco and avoid criticising the royal family or Islam, for example. Alcohol is served in some restaurants but not everywhere.
Travelling to Morocco
- Flight: Air Arabia flies directly from Stockholm (Arlanda) to Agadir, with a flight time of approximately 5.5 hours. Norwegian flies directly from Stockholm (Arlanda) to Marrakech, with a flight time of approximately 5 hours 10 minutes.
- Car: It is also possible to travel to Morocco by car or motorhome. Driving from Stockholm to Rabat takes about 43 hours (407 miles), counting pure driving time. Between Spain and Morocco you take a ferry across the Strait of Gibraltar.
