Why travel to Austria?

Austria is magically beautiful, with green forests and clear lakes and high Alpine peaks licking the sky. There are plenty of opportunities for short or long hikes, not least by hitchhiking up the Alps in summer. There are several famous ski resorts, such as St Anton, Bad Gastein and Sölden, as well as Alpbachtal, which we liked very much.

In Austria you will find well-prepared home cooking like goulash soup, but also fine dining and locally produced delicacies. Austria offers several beautiful cities, such as Salzburg, the birthplace of Mozart. Below you will find lots of articles about Austria.
