Here we list campsites and pitches in Norrbotten, from north to south. So far there are very few places in the landscape of Norrbotten, but the page will be filled with time. All places have been visited by us, Peter and Helena, who run the travel magazine FREEDOMtravel.se. The prices indicate what we paid when we visited the place (time in brackets).

Haparanda - Haparanda campsite
- Description: Camping with nice views of the water and very good location for visiting Haparanda. A little crowded between pitches when we were here.
- Service: Electricity, service house, possibility of filling fresh water, possibility of emptying grey and black water.
- Price: Approximately 400 kr/day in high season (2023)

Haparanda - Haparanda harbour
- Description: A parking space with a nice location by the water, run by a boat club. From here there are boat trips out to the Haparanda archipelago.
- Service: Electricity, service house, possibility of filling fresh water, possibility of emptying grey and black water.

Kalix - Kalix camping
- Description: The campsite has a great location by the water, and is well situated for visiting Kalix and the surrounding area.

Luleå - First Camp Arcus - Luleå
- Description: Large and beautiful campsite with a lovely sandy beach and many activities, including the Arcusbadet, high ropes course and restaurants.
- Service: Electricity, shelter, fresh water supply, grey and black water drainage. Restaurants.

Luleå - One's boat harbour
- Description: Year-round open site with 10 pitches on tarmac in a marina, in a great location for visiting Luleå.
- Service: Electricity, service house, possibility to fill fresh water, possibility to empty grey and black water. During low season/winter not all facilities are in use.

- Description: Large asphalt car park at the large icebreakers in Luleå.
- Service: No service

Piteå - Västra Kajen Camping & Guest Harbour
- Description: Large campsite with a great location by the water, and very well located for visiting the centre of Piteå.
- Service: Electricity, service house, possibility to fill fresh water, possibility to empty grey and black water and possibility to buy LPG.
- Price: Approximately 400 kr/day in high season (2023)

Piteå - Pite sea baths
- Description: A huge campsite with a swimming pool, spa, gym and many activities for children, such as the water park, the Skeppet activity centre and Nimby's playground.
- Service: Electricity, service house, possibility to fill fresh water and possibility to empty grey and black water. Several restaurants, bars and cafés are available.

Damn - Jävre car park
- Description: Large and well-kept campsite next to Jävre lighthouse, charming sheds and a restaurant and shed with smoked fish. One of all the nice sites in Norrbotten!
- Service: Electricity, service house, possibility of filling fresh water and possibility of emptying grey and black water. Restaurant and possibility to buy smoked fish.

Campsites and pitches in Norrbotten - good to know
There are plenty of campsites and pitches in Norrbotten, and many are nicely located by seaside baths, rivers or lakes. It's also relatively easy to free camp in many nice places, as long as you follow the laws and local rules.
