Said Belhaj is a professional mountaineer, travelling the world for various spectacular climbs. This year, he was awarded the "Male Adventurer of the Year" award on the grounds that he is "one of Sweden's most prolific climbers who seems to have no ambition whatsoever to slow down during what appears to be a sustained period of top form". The award was presented during the Vildmarksmässan in Stockholm and has previously been awarded to famous adventurers such as Ola Skinnarmo, Renata Chlumska and Fredrik Sträng.

Sofia Nordlander was just over 30 when she realised she wanted to travel - on a board! Now she's approaching 40, and by now she has travelled around the USA, Central America and Australia on her longboard. With her minimal pack strapped to an old board that comes with her as a trailer, the adventure lies ahead. Annika Myhre and her husband Tobias have three children aged 1-7, but that doesn't stop the family from going on exciting and exotic trips. The children have travelled to countries such as Tunisia, the USA and Taiwan, and right now the whole family has taken a 'Thai break' and is spending 3 months on Koh Lanta in Thailand, where their son also goes to school.

Helena Olmås normally works as a personal trainer, including through her own company Health by Helena. Right now she is on the other side of the globe, carrying out a project that is anything but ordinary. Helena is walking across New Zealand on foot - a walk of over 3000 kilometres!
