Yesterday we visited the Underwater Observatory in Eilat, Israel. To begin with, this is a park with several large aquariums and pools with fish and turtles. But the most fascinating thing is the underwater tower, where you can go deep under the surface and experience the underworld of the Red Sea through lots of big windows. Fascinating!

Yesterday, I (Helena) visited Norrtälje, often referred to as the capital of Roslagen, on business. I work in the Stockholm County Council and since the county stretches from Södertälje in the south to Norrtälje in the north, there are sometimes longer journeys for meetings. After the meeting, the sun was shining in Norrtälje and I took a short walk along the Norrtälje river.

Yesterday I was sweating in my jeans and my thin, thin summer jacket. Fantastic! As you may know, I (and Peter!) walk to work every day. Here are some photos from yesterday's walk along Karlbergssjön.

Are you planning to travel with your dog, cat or other pet? What happens when you fly and how does it work when travelling by camper van? And if you want to travel outside Europe, what happens? We've received a lot of questions about this, especially when it comes to travelling with dogs in a motorhome outside Europe.
Read moreWet snow across the board one day and glorious sunshine the next. Today we have sun again, and this is when we enjoy how fantastic we think it is to live in a marina. Living in a houseboat is a slightly different kind of accommodation. It's not just about the houseboat itself, but perhaps primarily about what's around it: the water, the boats, the ducks and all the other houseboats.
Read moreNow it has suddenly become winter. One morning you woke up to snow and sub-zero temperatures. (You should get used to it, but you are always surprised, haha.) We often get questions about what it is like to live in a houseboat in the winter. Is it cold? Is it slippery? Does the water freeze? Is it lonely? We'll try to answer ...
