Saxon Switzerland is a mountainous area and national park in Germany with stunning and dramatic scenery. The natural area continues into the Czech Republic where the national park is called Bohemian Switzerland. We did a day trip starting in the Czech Republic. What an adventure!

On 16-19 February, Stockholm's own motorhome and caravan fair will take place: Caravan Stockholm. The fair usually marks the start of the camping season, and although it's not the biggest camping fair in Sweden, there's always interesting news to be found. This year you can also listen to ... us! During our 2015 motorhome trip around Europe, we spent just over two months in Croatia, seeing everything from beaches to medieval villages and national parks in this beautiful country. In March, exactly seven years ago, we started the FREEDOMtravel blog. In 2006 and 2007 we managed to go on two of our biggest dream trips ever: the Trans-Siberian Railway through Siberia and Mongolia to China and an adventure trip around New Zealand.
