What an amazing experience to be at a Kenyan wedding! They told us that this was a small wedding because there were "only" 400 guests. In our eyes it was of course a huge wedding. Moreover, a fantastic wedding with beautiful clothes, joy and dancing.

Easter Eve 2012 - at Västerås Mälarcamping.

Now we have rolled into Västerås mälarcamping. We were actually looking for a pitch in Västerås, at the marina, but did not find it for some reason. Instead, it became really good here at the campsite! Here we have had everything from a walk in the sun (and the cold), Easter lunch, relaxing in front of some recorded TV series, the first barbecue of the year and meeting nice camping neighbours.

New Year's Eve in Kiev - celebrating New Year in Ukraine

So it was time to celebrate New Year in Ukraine! We started our New Year's Eve in Kiev by checking out the outdoor concert organised for all Kiev residents in the city centre, just below our hotel. Then we continued to the Arena Citi entertainment complex, where we bought tickets for both dinner and a party. Time for champagne and New Year!

Björknäs camping - Easter food and sunshine

Björknäs camping in Upplands Bro is a simpler model, but sometimes a bit of nature, a glimpse of the water, an electric pole and some toilets go a long way. We set up a good Easter lunch for ourselves outside the motorhome and then enjoyed the sun all day. What a fantastic high summer heat!

We had planned New Year in Budapest well in advance and had booked a table at a cosy wine cellar. It was a really successful evening, but perhaps not exactly as we had imagined. It started with ordering a taxi, which only had to drive about a block ... Then the evening at the wine cellar was completely different than we imagined.
