This weekend we visited Caravan, a motorhome fair in Helsinki. The fair was organised in connection with the big travel fair Matka, at Messukeskus in Helsinki. So, what can you find at a Finnish motorhome fair? We found out!

We haven't had any "FREEDOMtravel News" for a long time, but now it's time! We have received lots of the press release, and I have selected some that I find interesting. Today you can read about the increasing interest in cruises, a new motorhome concept called "Golden Dream" and that many Swedes dream of retiring in Spain.
Read moreElmia Husvagn Husbil, the Nordic region's largest trade fair for mobile life, is often referred to as the campers' New Year's Eve. Last year, more than 36,000 people visited the fair, which is the big camping festival of the year. On 6 - 10 September it's time again, but unfortunately we won't be there this year. We'll still tell you what's happening - and remind you of some of the highlights from last year!
Read moreOkay, here we go! This is Peter at the wheel. Firstly, I would like to say that there are problems with the 360 photos that I have taken and mostly on toads if I understand correctly. I'm looking for a coder who can help me, and the technology is moving so fast that not everything can keep up. We all have our more or less favourites in the motorhome or caravan world, and we found two motorhome favourites if we could choose.

Read moreIt was a nice start to Thursday and just the right amount of people. A lot of readers have shown up and talked to me, which is very nice. I was a guest on the Travelling podcast and got my warm-up on stage for tomorrow with Helena. A little more motorhomes and some caravans I have of course looked into. Follow along!
Read moreYesterday I took our tables and our roll-up there. We have electricity and internet and that's enough for us. I met some friends who are exhibitors, and we only meet at fairs. It's a lot of work to get all the stands and all the cars ready. There is filing and polishing everywhere. I took the opportunity to look inside some cars and took some photos with Nikon Keymission 360. Follow along!
Read moreThere are motorhomes, and then there are ... motorhomes. You might remember that we interviewed Peter Gröndahl, CEO of American Motorhomes, a few months ago? When we were at the Elmia Husvagn Husbil fair, we met him and got to check out a huge American motorhome. You are welcome to take a look too!
Read moreWe wrote a report on the Smove motorhome from Niesmann+Bischoff already in July, when we received a press release about it. Now, at the Elmia fair, we have been able to go inside and look at it for real. Here is a small picture bomb from the interior - a semi-integrated motorhome with a luxury feel.
