Ulrika and Gunnar have lived in France for twenty years and run a small decoration shop together. When they have time off, they love to go on trips in their Bürstner motorhome, often twice a month. In the past they sometimes went to Portugal, but now they usually choose to discover new gems in France or Spain.

Now we have a motorhome, a car and two electric bikes. It feels like we have expanded our "vehicle fleet", but the plan is actually to reduce it a bit over time. By investing in the motorhome and our new bikes, we hope to be able to do without the car.

When we got out to the campervan this weekend, we had a nasty surprise - we had a water leak in the campervan roof! The floor was wet, the roof was dripping and the new blankets and pillows were soaking wet. Not a pleasant surprise!

Now we have done both an inspection and a major service of the motorhome, including replacement of the cam belt. We have also bought new batteries and checked what applies to new plastic conversion and to repair stone chips in the front windscreen. Work on the renovation of our motorhome, the FREEDOM 2.0 project, continues.
